I’ve been beating this drum for a while. Once again, if fiat wasn’t in the picture, there would be no immigration crisis. The hordes come here to earn.

I’ve traveled to plenty of places that have dysfunctional economies and shit fiats with massive annual inflation. The countries are amazing and the people too and in many ways better than the USA. The people native to these countries don’t want to leave, but if you could make a pilgrimage (legal or not) to a place where you can make a years salary every month and can get a job immediately, you’d go. At least for a while.
