I don't think the flowers in the second pic have opened yet.

There's 2 flowers in the jackfruit pic.

The big one is the female flower which if pollinated will turn into a 7+ KG fruit. The little bud is the male flower, containing pollen.

Is the second one a breadfruit?

No

Amaranth and Jack fruit

Great guess but 1 is not correct

Probably wrong but is it a pistachio?

Mango & jackfruit

Never would have got that 🙂. That is super interesting I am surprised it has so many flowers for a single seeded fruit.

Most won't pollinate & start forming baby fruit. Most of the baby fruit won't set & grow full sized.

This is the delicate few weeks as a quick spring storm can knoxk off both the flowers and baby fruits.

I should see little green fruit forming in the next couple of weeks hopefully. This is from a young Nam Doc Mai (Thai) tree I planted about 3 years ago. It had just 1 little mango on it last year.

This is what they look like before they open up.

From the same tree but it's much further behind.

I liked the first shot. It was more artistic.

From this angle I would have known straight away. Tropical Earth Mumma

Mango and Jackfruit

We have a winner!

One is amaranth for sure.

Nah it's mango panicle in full bloom & starting to die off.

It's a wierd flower for those down south.

They don't normally form that shape. It was just an interesting perspective for the photo.
