CBDC’s will be intoxicating and irresistible to many, yes. Few understand that there is an opt in escape hatch even when they are shown it. I tend not to dwell on things I have little or no control over. Rather, I choose to spend my most precious and valuable resource, time, on things I can have a positive effect upon.
The rest will sort itself out. People will use ₿itcoin when they want to. It will always be there for anyone to benefit from. Forever.

I don't think your understanding what I'm saying.
Folks won't be choosing CBDCs because they want to. They will be forced to because we didn't force change in the opposite direction, due to our own greed.
The more people we get sats to, the more people we take the time to teach, the more people we lift out of poverty with bitcoin....the less likely they are to accept being force fed the CBDC that's coming within 10yrs and the more likely bitcoin is to actually replace fiat.
You can sit back if you want. But I won't be.
