They are still unusable for pleb mining. Focus should be to enable lightning payouts ( what a true innovation in the mining space that would be!) , not on block templates.
im a pleb with 3 S9's. i've been using ocean since launch. if i was using Braiins still, i wouldn't be able to withdrawal my sats either. i'm used to waiting nearly a year to do so. if they get lightning withdrawals up and running before a year is up, then it's faster than Braiins pool. Let's go.
Thats a very altruistic approach to mining, and i applaud it, but i think its probably the exception to the rule and certainly does nothing to refute that the incentives ,for a pleb miner, to use Ocean are the worst of all available options.
