Definitely an option and where I think things will end up, but I’d rather use a custodial Lightning wallet with LNURL for Nostr and zaps with a small balance and Phoenix as an actual Lightning wallet. Just my preference though.

Makes total sense. So last note...is there a closure risk even if you just store you LN sats on non-custodial wallet?
Yes. Something like Phoenix where you have your own private keys, and can close out any time, they could also close on you. It’s a two person standoff at all times until someone pulls the trigger.
