I am excited for the upcoming Damus App Store wave of new Nostr users. We'll need to have plenty of guides and links available for them, to help them on their Nostr journey. I'm sure this next wave will bring about many users that aren't familiar with the power of the Lightning network too, so have your Lightning guides and sats ready for tipping. Nostr is a great introduction to value for value content and how easily Lightning integrates and solves these scenarios. We know this, but they may not. Lastly, we'll need to show them the power of 🤙🏻 Exciting times are ahead.

Will be doing a ton of Nostr transcripts this year 🔥🔥🔥
Cool
I'm happy to translate stuff to Spanish. Let me know (like I'm 5) where I could post translations.
I’ll be posting Nostr transcripts here if you find them helpful to translate https://chowcollection.medium.com/
I think I’ll put together another guide for Damus-only, updated with all the recent improvements and simplified even more.
My original guide was a good starting point but I think Damus deserves a stand-alone walkthrough. Plus there have been so many recent enhancements and features thanks to #[2]
Let me know if you have any suggestions 🤙

I must admit i was against random invoices to be paid for no value. From your perspective here, i guess it will be useful once Damus is released on the app store. LN onboarding is valuable enough for me to tip new comers.
Absolutely. While we were on-boarding new users for NostrPlebs.com, I had roughly a dozen people tell me that hey had never used Lightning before. Some even were excited to setup their first node and open their first channels. If we give people real world use cases for it, in a fun and stress-free manner, people will come.
Fully agree.
