Trying to explain transaction fees and UTXO consolidation to my kids' mom and drive home the point that she needs to dig up those open dimes and get them to me so I can consolidate all the UTXOs onto a coldcard for them before fees go back up.

Not sure she really understands the urgency or how much potential future value that much Bitcoin will have for the kids by the time they're grown up, but I'm going to keep nagging her about it until she does it.

The open dimes were supposed to be very temporary but I ended up making a lot more deposits to them than I had originally planned before I got around to buying them a coldcard. It's making me really nervous for them to have such large balances on a couple of shitty open dimes.
