It's interesting when you think that all of this would be an architecure and planning school's wet dream.

Dense living spaces opens up larger green area, dedicated lanes for pedestrians, bikes, and cars, a walkable neighborhood where everybody fets equal sun light, equal green space, communal walkways, etc.

It's very interesting to see how spectacularly it can fail.
