So I’m thinking of buying a retreat center in the redwoods of Northern California that supports about 50 people in a rustic setting.

It’s pretty badass. 8 cabins, riverside, large hot tub, 3 saunas, swimming pond on about +200 acres. It’s expensive and would take a few years to get cashflow positive, but I could do it.

I think it would be a great spot to do various workshops on self-sovereignty, and get brilliant people together to teach, learn, and collaborate together. Only problem is I have no fucking clue what I am doing or how to run something like this. I feel confident I could figure it out, I just know it’ll be a lot of work, administration, and management the first several years.

But with that being said, I guess get busy living or get busy dying.

First: love the idea 💡 Nature is always good. 😊

What skillsets do you have that can make this plan workable? Focus there to guide you. Please be realistic with yourself. While it’s doable the idea that it will be profitable within a few years is magical thinking. It may be but will it be sustainable?

Definitely not trying to talk you out of it. Just be aware before purchasing. That’s all. Hugs 🫂
