It's not just "the Pope" and his minions; you'll find "substitute chosen ones" (i.e., "anti-christs") in all Christian denominations, as well as claiming to run every state everywhere...
According to his ambassador (and author of much of the New Testament) Paul, ***Jesus*** is the "Blessed and ONLY Sovereign."
