Does anyone willingly and knowingly consume AI music? Does anyone buy AI music (to enjoy, not to use as a soundtrack to a video or something)?

I like this site.

Listen to aisatsana (generative remix) on Generative.fm

Is generative music the same as AI music? I wouldn't call a generative patch on eg vcvrack, AI. 🤔

Maybe not I guess. A human still designed the generator here. But a human has to prompt AI music generators. Deep.

Sure but the difference is ai music is more like pastiche genre slop

Unwillingly or unknowingly, if I ever do. But mostly I listen to music I know isn't AI because it's either too old or is from bands I trust.

The market seems to be trickery mostly, rather than active enjoyment 🤔

Maybe?

I dunno, I haven't actively sought new music in a few years. I usually listen to bands or groups that tour live, anyway. It's just what I like, and that itself must filter out a lot of AI generated music.

Though who knows how much AI is behind electronic tracks in pop songs nowadays, even if the singer is real.

Hmm so there might be some gimmick/joke enjoyment, does this have any replay factor for you?

Yes, tracks from this album has been featured on B4TS and BTS multiple times

Not sure what those are 🤔

Lavish brought a track from that album last week for the Intermission

This seems more like an art project / concept (that when I clicked, had zero viewers)

Joke AI songs are fun. People make up the lyrics. It lowers the bar to produce a song low enough that a joke can be made into a song.
