The "Venus Tablet of Ammisaduqa," dating back to the Babylonian period (2004-1595 BC), was unearthed in Uruk, southern Iraq. This ancient clay tablet, inscribed with cuneiform script and featuring three geometric circles, contains astronomical calculations tracking Venus. Housed in the Babylonian Gallery at The Iraqi Museum, it highlights the Babylonians' sophisticated knowledge of celestial movements.

Ancient texts are cool. The Tenach is at least 2000 years older than that, and is on many (most?) people's bookshelf.

Texts that prove thier worth don't usually end up buried or lost in caves.
