An annual Proof of Keys Celebration on Jan 3rd to declare monetary sovereignty by withdrawing all $BTC held w/ trusted 3rd parties to software we control private keys & do network consensus.

I understand why, as I have previously and it is trained into our being, but it still boggles my mind how many trust a 3rd party with everything! I reckon with many services like nostr:npub1lrj3lsskez59qu68v5fpnur7ythe7s5e4qcelclha6t6r9q5pqgsl2mzx2 folks like myself will be taking that step more and more. It’s scary at first to take full responsibility of your keys and to be your own personal security system. I’m still working on my systems, always will be!
Agreed its all fun and games until you get rugged by a third party. A bank closed my account during covid and took 6 months to return me my money. Luckily I was already orange pilled and could survive without that money. Fuck the banks and fuck third parties.
Proof of Keys should be everyday.
