Classics like Great Expectations are supposed to help young adults reflect on their thinking

More such material should be taught and tested

I think philosophy already does a great job. There's a flavour for everyone but how it is taught makes it overly complex and dull.

You can't teach philosophy to young adults. It'd be too boring

Best to use simple fiction, IMHO
