Cat cow stretch opens up the area of the spine that is pressing on the nerve causing pain in your leg.

Breathe in when your back is arched and breathe out when your stomach is extended for maximum stretch.

GO SLOW! 10 stretches should take over a minute.

Start with whatever is comfortable and work your way up to 10 stretches in the morning and 10 stretches in the evening. Continue stretching twice a day until the pain subsides then at least once a day forever to keep the pain from coming back.

Thank you so much, I'm going to do this now.

The other thing that helped me was to stop sitting on my wallet. I used to drive 3-4 hours a day and my sciatic pain made it almost impossible to walk. Removing the wallet and stretching took about two months to fix the problem.
