Another interesting development from the Vietnam War.

The Vietnam War was a highly successful testing ground for Monsanto and their herbicide products (Agent Orange) which was used to strip vegetation in Vietnam during this time.

The contract(s) Monsanto formed with the U.S. goverment, brought in a golden opportunity [Pun intended] to research and develop a whole host of new products.

One of which was the development and production of Glyphosate (Roundup) that has been and currently is, applied to food crop systems world wide.

After years of legal battles involving health complications from people using their herbicides and other products, in 2018 a company acquisition was finalized between Mosanto and Bayer.

That's right the same Bayer that provides readily available medication for health ailments.

Bayer's Crop Science Division offers products ranging from herbicides, pesticides, fungicides to even "genetically enhanced" seeds for major crops like corn, soybeans and wheat. They are used more and more throughout the world with every passing year.

Talk about going full circle.

Part of agent orange is 2,4-D. As it doesn't affect grasses it is often found in weed and feed. 🤦‍♂️
