grey, what about government intervention for elder abuse or other vulnerable people like women and children.
I would argue that ANYONE is justified in intervening in those situations, not just government.
Perhaps I should phrase it differently - “I am opposed the MONOPOLIZATION of government inference of all kinds”

In my experience people don't tend to meddle on other people's affair. they think someone else will deal with it but usually just leads to the bystander affect. I'm glad we have women and men who spend their consciousness and time on vulnerable people in society who often go unnoticed. but I hear you tho
