what a bunch of morons

I am trying to register to a service and receiving a message "password format incorrect"

I will put aside that they are morons because the password format is definitely correct (it is long and even has numbers dashes in them)

but they do not bother to specify what they consider the correct format!!!!!!

am I using too many letters? the letters are too different from each other?
