Sending billions to other countries seems insane especially when you can't control what they're doing with the money but it's really an insurance policy. International relations and trade is so complex and without understanding our supply chains for everything from food to minerals to fertilizers it's easy to point fingers and say they're doing something wrong
Really a fan of these arguments because nobody wants to sit down and start talking real numbers
