Her book is called The Deficit Myth... I'm not surprised she'd think that.
The deficit is money flowing in the private sector, is what she'd say.
I'd highly recommend everyone reads her book to see how these people think. MMT is communism with extra step, imo.
I call MMT postmodern Keynesianism - like how woke is postmodern Marxism. It’s the same thing, a synthesis on top of the old model meant to fix its flaws but really is just even more psychotic and dangerous than the original concept which birthed it.
I’ve read her absolute garbage book and everyone should, have to know what these lunatics believe.

I’ve listened to a few interviews with her and Warren Mosler, another MMT proponent. One thing they always emphasize is that they’re not prescribing MMT, just describing how the system works. Yet, whenever they’re challenged, they defend it as if they are prescribing it, as though they really do believe it's the way forward.
