I've been using hey(dot)com for a few years now, but I'm thinking of switching to another email provider.

I don't get hey's reluctance to implement push notifications — like, how am I supposed to know when I've got new mail? It's increasingly difficult to keep my "Imbox" organised, which defeats the purpose of using the service.

I'm open to exploring alternatives besides Proton. Recommendations welcome.
