According to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, the terrorist responsible for the Abbey Gate Bombing during the pullout from Afghanistan in 2021 has been apprehended and is now en route to the U.S. to face justice. The terrorist, from ISIS-K, Mohammed Sharifullah, played a key role in the 2021 suicide bombing that took the lives of 13 U.S. service members and many other Afghan civilians at what was then Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) in Kabul.
