That's a new one for me also

I used to have a stump like that outside my house, only it was 2-3 times the diameter of that one and probably shorter. The Canadian geese flying through loved sitting on top of that. It brings back memories.

Sadly a crazy grass fire, fueled by 60+ mph winds vaporized the stump and our house. Is it funny that I miss that stump?

There is an old tree outside where I live, and I have seen them standing ontop of it as well. Interesting to know that there is some common behavior shared between them!
