I’m not against carnivore diet, in-fact I consume more than enough.

However I wonder how many had the opportunity to slaughter the animal themselves?

When I did it gave me a perspective many will avoid at all costs and make every excuse not to do this.

I’ve hunted, gutted, and butchered a few animals…enough to appreciate the life that I’m eating. There’s nothing happy about an animal dying for food.

I eat only meat. I’m not “pro killing animals,” rather I think everyone should recognize how truly valuable meat is and never waste it.

Every time I eat meat I think of it.

You’re absolutely spot on.

I hope to extend this privilege to my sons one day when they’re old enough.

Only chickens, and even hacking a birdy takes some getting used to, but wacking the life out of a big animal I'm sure changes your view
