There a tiny number of people on Twitter I will still engage with because they aren’t here and I miss their perspective and can’t resist. But every time I do use Twitter like that, I get more bullish on Nostr.

My strategy: follow everyone who interacts with the people you follow. And follow anyone who interacts with you in the ways you like. And follow people who follow you.
I don’t spend time in the various hashtags, but if any of them appeal to you, I’m sure that’s a great way to find people you can enjoy hanging out with.
I love Nostr. It makes me nostalgic for the internet I fell in love with almost 30 years ago.
