Planes haven’t really advanced since the 70s. I think you can read a little about that on the wtf happened 1971 website. The flying experience has actually gotten shittier over time due to government subsidies and destruction of competition.

And yeah, def worse and worse experience each year that goes by. Pretty soon they'll just give you a time range for take off, like a plumber, then kick you in the nuts when you leave
The fastest plane ever created was before 1971 and we still haven’t made anything faster. So idk what those nerds are talking about maybe the fancy lights and autopilot stuff
