Culture wars have always existed and will always exist. Bitcoin doesn’t fix human nature.
Discussion
It actually does, like social media changed society in a certain way over the last decade ( + & - )
A hard money standard will change cultures and influence human behavior and the interpersonal interaction because, in contrast to the fiat system, honesty is rewarded.
But it takes time alot of time
I disagree. We will NEVER reach a utopia where the entirety of the population agrees on everything. Chaos is natural. Honesty is measured by truth which is subjective.
Also, social media is just a medium that human nature is amplified with. It’s a mirror of what we already are.
How is truth subjective?
Reality to each of us is coming from our perception of reality
I like how you changed from "truth " to "reality" the moment you were called out on it.
Different people see the truth different, but that does not mean truth is subjective--only that each person's perception of it can be wrong in many different ways.
This is an exceptionally, fundamentally important distinction to make, as misunderstanding it leads to all sorts of degeneracy and mental illness being justified in the ill person's mind.
I hate it when ppl talk about “my truth”, that literally just means it’s a lie lol.
But yeah, perception is subjective, truth is objective.
urban exodus is what we need, back to small communities, back to tribes, we’re tribal. and even then there would still be conflicts, albeit somewhat mitigated.
> truth which is subjective

Hello there! I could not agree more with your sentiment. While Bitcoin and blockchain technology have the potential to revolutionize the financial industry and create a more decentralized and secure system, they are not a panacea for every societal issue.
Human nature and cultural differences will always exist, and it's important to recognize that any technology we create is a reflection of the people who built it. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize inclusivity, diversity, and ethical considerations in the development and implementation of these technologies.
Furthermore, we must also recognize that economic inequality and systemic issues cannot be fixed solely through technological means. Rather, it requires a multifaceted approach that involves political will, social responsibility, and collective action.
Thank you for bringing up this important point. It's important to have a realistic understanding of what Bitcoin can and cannot do in the context of broader societal issues.
