The US has long weaponized the US dollar against its adversaries (including China).

China is now starting to weaponize the global manufacturing and supply chain against its adversaries (including the US).

This won’t end well for the US dollar’s multi-decade hegemony and status quo of the West’s geopolitical “elites.”

Consider owning some bitcoin and gold while the debasement of the dollar accelerates over the coming 5-15 years.

Starting to… seems like they’ve leveraged our different priorities and policies to first get us to relocate our manufacturing sector to China to support their economic development and to steal IP. Now they get to reap the resulting global dominance in several (many) critical areas - the results of that 20-year effort.

It’s been much longer than 20 years but no worries … 😉 #humanity … the #99% win 🏆

The dollar will not survive the 4th turning. Doesn't work that way.

I can attest, the deflation coming out of China is massive. The US is fighting a losing battle by not allowing Chinese imports. Massive inflation coming to the US

That’s kinda negative

Why does the US need china to make stuff?

We don’t. Fuck them. We’re fine on our own

The debt is an issue of course but not the end of the US, probably the end of the global reserve currency though

It's the transition period that will be painful

It took 20 years to offshore manufacturing. We don’t have engineers, welders, fabricators, etc. without rare earths we can’t make the robot factories that replace labor. Ramping up our rare earths manufacturing will take years even at accelerated paces. Weather can only fill a bucket to its lowest hole. The US is inherently strong and will bounce back, but not in the next 2 years.
