anyone who swallows the bullshit about current generation AI being anything but a stupid buggy toy is already living in a dream world in their own mind

anyone whose mind is grounded in reality can see it's garbage

the tech has its uses but i doubt it can collect garbage yet at this point, now that would actually be a use for it... self driving cars are still not safer than driving manually so i don't think we want 10 ton trucks driving around driven by machines... maybe at best we can have a smart robot arm that can deal with random piles of garbage

The last mile delivery - for trucks is ķey.

We can platoon trucks in long lines right now and have them trundle down the interstate in a straight line with no obstructions

Try programming a truck to go into central New York or LA and deal with the thousands of variables that pop up

Won't see AI trucks in cities for a while is my prediction
