If you do the same things everyone else is doing you will get the same results.

You know how mocked and derided I was back in 2015 for putting all of my money into bitcoin?

Everyone I knew was making fun of me both to my face and behind my back.

The things I was doing at that time were just too outside the norm for most people to comprehend.

I was weird to them.

Moral of the story?

You wanna get ahead. Prepare to do some weird shit and be ostracized for it.

Endure a decade of mockery and then have the last laugh.

There’s an element of that midwit meme that comes into play.

Part of you will have an intellectual case for the unorthodox thing you’re doing but it’s not enough.

You also need the left side of the curve to Forrest Gump into it and resist whatever mockery or reluctance.
