Not true, the city and state didn’t request or require the National Guard. They were sent as a show of force to intimidate people after immigration raids targeted specific communities. This is not a war zone.

They also took orders from a fake chain of command because there is no real chain of command (their official "leader" is too much of a pussy to discipline them for defying his orders in favor of someone else)

So the countless videos of wanton destruction is evidence of everything being under control?

Cmon man.

You're taking an idealogical stance, I get that, but it's just not lining up with the facts here.

You live over 5000 miles away and obviously don’t have all the context. The federal government sent in armed agents to find and arrest people who were not posing a threat to anyone. LA is a city of Latin American immigrants, so obviously this action was intended to cause disobedience.

It’s easy to only see one side if that’s what you’re being shown. Here’s a video of an Australian reporter being hit by a rubber bullet shot by a LAPD officer firing into a crowd. How might this situation have played out if it had been a Marine with live ammunition?

It's possible I'm missing context, I'm only going off of what I have at hand.

This clip only strengthens my point about local law enforcement handling it poorly.

That’s not an excuse to escalate with the military, unless the goal is for the military to restrain the cops, which is obviously not what would happen.
