Awesome!

You wanna help me build this out?

http://nostrmeet.me

Working on MVP for Las Vegas conf RN : “scan QR for instant account and anon (gift wrapped) DM thread with me on Nostr.”

Would be great to have follow sets integrated (for new accounts to browse, and event for QR invites to “recommend). nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 and I plan to onboard tons of folks at the LV conf!

I’ll be integrating GrapeRank shortly after the conf, to generate “automatic” recommendations of follows and follow sets and other stuff. I’ve already built the algo engine:

I can provide all kinds of feedback for you, but I am sadly not a builder. Maybe this old dog could learn new tricks, or learn how to vibe code something.

At least check it out … feedback is welcome. Good vibes might even help?? lol

Already on it! This is pretty nice!

Is the QR code on the invite screen supposed to be scannable, or is that still a WIP? My phone didn't pick up that it was a QR code.

It's much better looking than the old onboardstr.vercel.app or nostr.do (now dead). It's also nice that it creates an ncryptsec, rather than bare nsec, for the new user that they can then import into a compatible client, or into Amber.

Obviously a lot of things that aren't up and running yet, but I like where this is going!

Yup. QR code is at the bare edge of scannable … due to image overlay and other styles … easily tweakable once I get to this.

I’ve put a lot of thought into this app … it’s my baby. Ncryptsec is bare minimum of what an onboard app SHOULD provide.

You nailed it with your ideas above … so thought you’d enjoy taking a look.

RN I’m deep into the guts of gift wrapped direct messaging. Will wrap this up this week … and get back to the UX.

Nice! Will you be using a default relay for the new user's DM inbox?

Got one set up already, from nostr:npub10npj3gydmv40m70ehemmal6vsdyfl7tewgvz043g54p0x23y0s8qzztl5h at nostr1. You are obv on top of it!!

The joys of knowing a ton about how the protocol works without knowing how to write a single line of code...

There IS a place for you on any Nostr dev team … either vibing or testing or architecting or even just brainstorming.

Definitely appreciate the encouragement! Happy to help in whatever way I can!
