China has been restructuring their economy; they intentionally popped the housing bubble two years ago and have been rotating into technology (to out-tech the US).
aren't they already at a comparable stage tech wise to the US ? what are recent growth components seen there?

In many aspects yes, but the US can still perform functions that china cannot.
like forcing you to scroll on fields
