I finally decided to not use iMessage anymore as I noticed that stuff I discussed in there would later show up in my YouTube-recommendations..? Yeah no thanks.

So what’s my best option?

I don’t mind some convenience and I’m not adamant on total #privacy but this rubbed me the wrong way.

Bonus points if it has decent Video-Call capabilities. I use it a lot with my partner.

I used Telegram and Discord in the past but both for me they are worse than iMessage.
