most people couldn't care less about their children, all they care about is following the herd

eg would rather inject them with an untested gene therapy that cannot possibly do them any good than act differently to everyone around them

but yeah formal education is just a way of training and selecting for obedience to authority

(i bet the more education someone has, the more likely they injected their kids with untested gene therapy)
