Unfortunatelly that's not what I see where I am.

Some (old) people are just nostalgic about it. And a it has also infected the minds of many in one way or other. They might not say directly that they would prefer to go back to communism, but increasingly I see demands for socialist solutions to current problems (often caused by socialists in the govt).
