Gotta find locally sourced if possible. Better qualiity and often much cheaper than grocery stores. Generally costs me about 60 a week to feed myself, and that is mostly beef and eggs.

90% of my food is bought from my local butcher. I have encouraged him to stock more things (eggs, coffee) so I can give him more of my money and less to the chain stores. Added benefit is food quality is much better, as you pointed out.

I hear that. Still a few things I get from a big grocery store, but between the butcher and a small family run grocery in town, they get most my food budget. Got a dairy farm down the way that does direct sales as well. And the added bonus, raw milk at the farm and the small grocery
