My 3 yo likes to take my AirPods case and put it into his pocket. Then takes it out and inspects it, carefully treasuring and placing back into his pocket. Oh and he sleeps with it.

My 1 year old loves absolutely every box.
Carton boxes, milk boxes, tupperware, ring cases, phone cases, etc.
It's futile to buy him other toys.
