So I bought the Oblivion Remaster on steam and will be returning it.
I've never played through that game and really wanted to.
I was waiting for skyblivion.
But i thought, wow this is the perfect opportunity!
They inserted several woke things in the first 45 minutes.
All the guards are black now.
They dont say male or female they say type 1 or type 2.
I think im just gonna go back to the original and install some game controller mods.

Yeah. It's stupid. I was watching a new movie recently, and a woman uses the world "mankind", and then quickly corrects herself to say, "humankind" instead, as if she had just committed some kind of awful sin or something.

I dont mind black people in games as long as it doesn't feel like they are forcing it down my throat trying to make me feel bad about being white.
Morrowind had black guards greet you in the beginning like 25 years ago.
Can’t say I’ve played the prior games to know the difference. I only got into the series with Oblivion since it was so hard to get the ones on OG Xbox. If you can confirm that’ll be cool.
Im setting up the controller mods. Skyblivian comes out this year too supposedly. So we should have another alternative
It’s always good to have alternatives. Me gets the feeling the Oblivian remake will get the same mod treatment as Skyrim.
OK I played q couple hours through the original.
Those guards were black back in the day. Its just the graphics improved so much it was kinda hard to tell before.
I would say the only big change is the type1 type2.
And the old one is really aged. The new one looks way better. I think I'll still hold off on buying it forna while and just play the old one modded with controller support.
It could be the color saturation in general. It seems a lot brown/darker with the remaster. Already seeing mods that fix that, including one that replaces the body type 1 & 2 with male or female. On Nexus Mods of all places!?!?! 😱
I saw that. Elon Musk commented in a thread about it.
Nexus mods deleted the first upload and banned the user.
What? They did? Even after the blog post asto why they allowed the mod when they didn’t in the past in other games?
Guess it’s back to the alterative mod sites again. 🤷♂️
Looks like Nexus Mods reversed their decisions. PC Gamer is reeeing. 😈 it’s now top rated on the site.
