Today was particularly bad. I called my car insurance ahead (Asesuisa) of going out for drinks and meet friends. I have the insurance policy for 12 designated drivers per year. I have used it 3 so far and it's great, you ask for a driver at a specific time and they come with another person in a car that follows you to your house behind your driver that drives your car back home.

Awesome service. You have to know that El Salvador now has 0% alcohol driving laws since December 2024. Even mouth wash that gets a 1 on the device would get you in jail.

Buy today, when I spoke to the lady at the call center, she refused to give me a designated driver. She kept saying that this service is reserved to 'health' services.

I kept telling her she was wrong and I pay for that service. She ignored me and I was so mad I Hung up the call. I then contacted the Asesuisa WhatsApp support and asked them if it was new policy because if it was I would cancel my car insurance.

Then I got a phone call, it was the director for the region. He spoke English and knew my name.

He told me that the person at the call center was confused and was in error...

He then told me to call his number directly next time to get a designated driver and he will make sure it will happen.

Wow!! I told him that was an awesome service and I will call him for sure.
