I want to set up my own bitcoin (and lightning) node. Is umbrel home good for me. I am not technically advanced and I don’t want to build it myself. #asknostr #umbrel

You can run a node on a computer you already own, instead of spending $500 on a piece of hardware.

Yes but I use my computer for music production that’s already demanding on ram. I like umbrel os and want to use it for other self hosting purposes as well. It’s $400 now 😀

Sure. You can also get a Raspberry Pi that you can install the Umbrel OS on if you’d like to save some money.
