It’s why family is all I care about. “Bros”, “friends”, all that shit falls away to convienience over time. The only thing that has any hope of sticking around is blood.

People could make something like that but you need workers, and you need people who are willing to put in more than their share of effort (ideally everyone, so you have plenty of surplus w/ no dead weight).

The people who are talented, driven, and successful enough to do this alone and sustain a mini culture are rewarded in other, more lucrative careers anyways. THis is cool what the guy is doing but he’s a dead end at 23 yo, this is interesting to see but utterly unsustainable in the long term, and has all the hallmarks of a hippie phase he will abandon as he ages. Just ask anyone from the 70’s communes how they like living in a teepee in their 80’s
