Yeah, it is a fair assertion. For profiles and more importantly pubkeys to relays mapping but we can also have a hashtags to relays mapping too
What is the cost of purple pages running you per month? How many profilles do you have indexes?

It is. It’s a very left-side of the curve solution.
For months I was running it on a $5 VPS to prove the point that is cheap as fuck. I have no idea how many it has now but months ago it had about 2M pubkeys (I did some minor spam prevention but erred on the side of allowing more in)
Right now it just runs on my main bare metal server since it felt stupid to be paying $5/mo to prove a point just to myself 😂

For any of these 2MM pubkeys, do you store e.g. the top 10 relays where their profile info can be found?
And from there nostr apps can search for their notes?
Must I follow a npub to find their notes using the find profile path above?
