If someone offered to pay you to be mediocre, eat junk food, and lie around all day watching Netflix, would you take the job?

Why are people doing it?
I think it's the easiest way to be. Economists link such type of living with inflationary monetary politics. Government print money and give it to poor people and they're eating junk food and don't want to work because their existence doesn't depend on working or doing something for society.
