ive got some gut level reservations about the Pear runtime project.
the thing about nostr is, while it may have some chaos, and a probem of people rushing to be first (and therefore cutting corners), it is largely not hidden or secretive. Its funding is largely transparent, the people building it are accessable, and there does not appear to be too many shady question marks.
Pear on the other hand has some question marks. There is alot of overly obscure lingo, and marketing speak. This could be because they are trying too hard due to VC backing, or it could be because they are hiding something. Another thing is, since the whole thing seems to be a giant ball of javascript how secure is it? Another question...what is their connection to Tether? By all accounts, Tether has some scetchy connections to the CIA. That does not neccesarily mean anything, but its still worth asking.
Just... questions.
