There’s a rotating cast of hired gun street fundraisers working for Greenpeace in the neighborhood surrounding Bitcoin Park. I counter-pitch a handful of them every week. Most have no clue what Bitcoin is, but when I tell them I can’t support their org, they get curious.
Anyone passionate enough to join GP although misguided cares deeply about the environment thus will become Bitcoiners, they just don’t know it yet. I already turned a couple.
That’s the worst part. Once GP comes off the XRP money high they will realize that bitcoin mining is doing so much good for the environment in terms of energy mix sustainability, grid stability, etc.
Exactly. They clearly didn’t care about actually changing it (or even do any research) because the whole premise was to make Bitcoin PoS, which… has already been tried and exists. So dumb
