Out of all the multiple taxes imposed on people, inheritance tax is surely the most egregious.

Going after the people tho slave to feed the population is also up there. If anything, farmers should get tax breaks or exemption status.

If I am not mistaken, they have been doing it for a long time to aristo families. Massive tax on inheritance of large estates, so that they are forced to sell big portions of land to pay tax on what remains.

Actually in the UK, large estates are often put into trusts to avoid this.
