True, and that's our fault for conceding. We are at a stage where most guys fail to respond properly to women when they're being unreasonable or disrespectful. This perpetuates a wrong view of the world for these women.
I often speak on women's behaviour BUT I always blame the men actually. It's the most productive mindset.

You say that one person can't just keep conceding to the other because that would make the relationship lopsided and a one-way street, causing resentment over the long run.
A healthy disagreement and balance is key to make it more like a partnership.
I'm with you on the first part but I no longer view it as a partnership, I used to but that caused nothing but chaos and misery. A man has to lead. Once I adopted this mindset everything improved.
I'm not married yet, so I don't think I can give a reliable opinion about this just yet
