nope, never. I was healthy as fuck. Grew up, drinking springwater in the woods, not knowing that was a bad thing apparently. I did get chickenpox once when I was little, but that was such a quick episode and nothing terrible ever came from it.
my dad is from Hong Kong and always gave us herbal teas and soups when the weather changed. My mom, just a crazy redneck american who never trusted the gov or medical system and raised us with homeopathy & naturopathy.
most of us weren’t even born in hospitals. never had a primary care doc either.
worst thing that happened in my fam was a brain tumor (big sis) but that was highly due to birth control & physical trauma. 🤷🏻♀️

Sorry to hear about your sister. My best friend past away in high school with brain cancer. Was a brutal 4 years of suffering. Wouldn't wish that on no one.
Your upbringing seems unique. Kind of love it though.
