He did flip the tables OUTSIDE the temple. Ha, I haven't thought about this angle. Really cool observation!

Jesus went into the temple according to Luke and cast out the ones selling and buying...

Luk 19:45-46 KJV And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

46. Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Here is another example of Jesus going into the Temple to drive the Money Changers and other riff-raff out.

Joh 2:13-16 KJV ¶And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

14. And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

15. And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

16. And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
